Bangbang (Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono) and Bush

In the WORLD'S THIRD LARGEST DEMOCRACY they have been holding elections:

No 'left-wing' parties are allowed to stand.

President Yudhoyono's pro-American Democratic Party is in the lead with 20 %. (Yudhoyono was a Suharto general and was trained in the USA)

In 1967, Ann Dunham married Lolo Soetoro and went to live in Indonesia. aangirfan: Obama - government and military connections?

Former President Megawati Sukarnoputri's party has 15 % (Megawati is the daughter of former President Sukarno who was reportedly removed by the CIA).

Suharto's former group, Golkar, has 15 %.

The allegedly CIA-linked religious-based Islamic Prosperous Justice Party has 8 %.

Indonesian elections test decade-old democracy

Jakartass ( writes:

"My guess is that, as before, Jusuf Kalla, whose Golkar Party is stuck with c. 14.1%, will continue as SBY's Vice President, and that Megashopper's PDI-P, with c.14.5%, will form the bulk of the opposition."
